  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1 cup cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 400 g udon noodles pre-cooked
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • green onions sliced, for garnish

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add onions and carrots. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Add cabbage and snap peas; continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked udon noodles to the pan and toss to combine.
  • Pour in soy sauce, mirin, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well to coat.
  • Stir-fry for another 2–3 minutes or until noodles are hot and coated evenly.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

You can add tofu, mushrooms, or your favorite protein to customize this dish.
