
Cremige Tomaten Burrata Pasta in Your Pressure Cooker
This creamy tomato Burrata pasta is a rich, comforting dish made quickly in your pressure cooker. It’s perfect for busy weeknights yet decadent enough for guests.

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 0.5 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 8 oz penne pasta or any short pasta
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 ball Burrata cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped, for garnish
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
- 1 tablespoon butter optional
- 1 teaspoon sugar to balance acidity
- 0.5 cup frozen peas optional
- 0.25 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
- 2 tablespoon cream cheese optional for extra creaminess
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Turn on the sauté mode of your pressure cooker. Heat olive oil and sauté onion until translucent.
- Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and stir in the pasta.
- Close the lid and cook at high pressure for 5 minutes. Let pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then do quick release.
- Open the lid and switch back to sauté mode.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, butter, and cream cheese if using. Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Add peas and sun-dried tomatoes (if using), stir, and cook another minute.
- Turn off heat and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if desired.
- Transfer to serving bowls. Tear the Burrata cheese and place over pasta.
- Garnish with fresh basil and pepper flakes. Serve immediately!
Notes
If you prefer a spicier pasta, increase the red pepper flakes. Add more cheese if you like it extra rich!
