- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Brown sugar packed
- ½ cup White sugar
- 2 Eggs large
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 ½ cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Nutella for stuffing
- ½ cup Chopped walnuts optional

- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts if using.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough, flatten slightly, place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center, and top with another tablespoon of dough. Seal edges.
- Place cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool before serving.
Notes
These cookies are best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
