  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup White sugar
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 ½ cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Nutella for stuffing
  • ½ cup Chopped walnuts optional

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts if using.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  • Scoop tablespoons of dough, flatten slightly, place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center, and top with another tablespoon of dough. Seal edges.
  • Place cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool before serving.

Notes

These cookies are best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
