Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Remove the stems and leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create a batter.
  • In another bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs and add the olive oil, mixing until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower wings are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through.
  • While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together the vegan mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, maple syrup, and rice vinegar in a small saucepan.
  • Heat the sauce mixture over low heat for about 3-5 minutes until warmed.
  • Once the cauliflower wings are done, toss them in the Bang Bang sauce until well-coated.
  • Serve immediately while hot, garnished with additional sriracha and green onions if desired.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use a gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs.
Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sriracha in the sauce.
These wings can also be served with celery or carrot sticks and a vegan ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
