Instructions

Instructions

  • In a bowl, toss your ground beef or plant-based meat with garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything up real good but don’t overwork it.
  • Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, try to keep ‘em nice and even so they cook just right.
  • Get your pressure cooker ready; make sure the sealing ring is in place and clean. This is super important for that perfect pressure build.
  • Brown the patties in a skillet just a bit on medium-high heat to get some color and flavor. You’ll do the rest in the pressure cooker.
  • Place those browned patties on the trivet inside the pressure cooker. Add a tiny bit of water at the bottom to make steam, then seal the lid snugly.
  • Set your pressure cooker to high pressure for about 5 minutes. That’s when the valve hiss and steam cues come alive.
  • Once the timer’s done, quick-release the pressure carefully so you don’t lose all those yummy juices inside.
  • Toast your buns on the grill or a skillet while the patties rest a minute. Then stack up lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese if you want. Slap that patty on and dig in!

Notes

Serve your burgers with fries or onion rings for a complete pub-style meal. Remember to pre-slice your veggies to save time!
