In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, and granulated sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture is frothy.
Add the melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
Gradually add in the flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until it's smooth and elastic.
Place the kneaded dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place them on a lined baking sheet.
Cover the rolls with plastic wrap and allow them to rise again for about 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for about 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Remove the rolls from the oven and brush them with melted butter while they are still warm.
In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, honey, and cinnamon to make the Cinnamon Honey Butter.
Serve the warm rolls with cinnamon honey butter on the side.
