Sticky Beef & Noodles {One Pan}

  • 1 Frying pan or pressure cooker used without lid for sautéing

  • 1 tablespoon Sunflower oil for browning the beef
  • 400 g Steak fat removed and thinly sliced
  • 300 g Broccoli chopped
  • 160 g Mange tout adds snap and green freshness
  • 250 g Dried egg noodles cooked and drained
  • 1 tablespoon Crushed ginger fresh or jarred
  • 4 cloves Garlic peeled and crushed
  • 5 tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 6 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoon Honey
  • 6 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 4 Spring onions trimmed and thinly sliced

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • Heat sunflower oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add beef strips and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add crushed garlic and ginger to the same pan. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add broccoli and mange tout. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until just tender.
  • Return beef to the pan. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, honey, and ketchup. Stir to coat.
  • Add cooked noodles. Toss everything together so the sauce coats all ingredients evenly.
  • Serve immediately topped with sliced spring onions.

Notes

Try using pre-sliced beef and jarred ginger/garlic for faster prep. Great for meal prep or quick dinners.
