Main ingredients

  • 8-10 Whole Jalapeños fresh, not too big
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Shredded Smoked Brisket
  • ½ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 10-12 slices Wright Brand Bacon hickory smoked
  • Favorite BBQ Seasoning as needed
  • Maple Syrup for glaze

Instructions

  • Mix the cream cheese, shredded brisket, and cheddar cheese in a large bowl until evenly blended.
  • Slice a 'T' into each jalapeño, remove seeds and membranes carefully.
  • Stuff each jalapeño with the cheese mixture.
  • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with bacon and season with BBQ seasoning.
  • Preheat the smoker to 250°F with added wood chips for smoke.
  • Place Texas Twinkies in the smoker and cook for about 90 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  • Brush each Twinkie with maple syrup glaze during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
