  • 4 cups water
  • 1 ¾ cups fresh lemon juice
  • 11 oz peach nectar canned
  • 1 cup sugar superfine or granulated
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme or lemon-thyme
  • ice cubes for serving
  • lemon slices for garnish
  • additional thyme sprigs for garnish

  • To a large pitcher or trifle bowl, add water, lemon juice and peach nectar.
  • Add sugar and stir together until sugar dissolves.
  • Stir in thyme sprigs.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours to steep flavors.
  • Serve in glasses over ice, with lemon slices and more thyme sprigs if desired.
  • Enjoy chilled and fresh.

Notes

Recipe makes approximately 64 oz. To use fresh peaches: Add 3 sliced peaches and 1 cup water to a blender, puree, then strain. Use peach liquid in place of peach nectar. Adjust peaches to taste.
Store lemonade in sealed container in fridge. Can freeze in ice cube trays for longer storage.
