  • 2 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 0.25-0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 ounce Ranch Dressing Powder Hidden Valley
  • 8 Pepperoncinis sliced
  • 5.3 ounce Garlic and Herb Boursin Cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoon Butter optional

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker in a flat layer.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and ranch dressing powder evenly over the chicken.
  • Top with sliced pepperoncinis and drizzle some of their briny juice if desired.
  • Place the Boursin cheese on top and dot butter pieces (if using) around it.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4.5 to 5 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until chicken is tender.
  • Perform a natural release if using a pressure cooker to retain moisture.
  • Remove chicken and shred with two forks. Stir melted cheese and butter into a creamy sauce.
  • Return shredded chicken to the sauce and stir to combine. Serve hot over pasta or rice.

Notes

For added zing, drizzle a tablespoon of pepperoncini juice into the slow cooker. Serve over egg noodles, rice or mashed potatoes. Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
