  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating and crisping
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • Wash and scrub the russet potatoes well. Leave the skins on for texture and flavor.
  • Slice the potatoes evenly into ⅛-inch rounds using a sharp knife or mandoline slicer.
  • Toss slices in a large mixing bowl with olive oil, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Arrange potato slices in a single layer in air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if needed.
  • Air fry for 15 minutes total, flipping slices halfway through for even browning.
  • Remove when golden and crisp and allow to cool before serving. Repeat with remaining slices.

Notes

For extra crisp, slice potatoes thin, don't overcrowd the air fryer, and be sure to flip halfway. Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 4 days and reheat in air fryer to restore crispness.
