Equipment

  • 1 Skillet for browning chicken and garlic
  • 1 Oven for baking wraps
  • 1 Baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts main tender protein
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil helps get garlic fragrant and chicken browned
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning herb mix e.g. oregano and basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for mayo spread

Instructions

Instructions

  • Start by heating your oven to 375°F so it’s ready to bake those wraps to golden melty perfection.
  • In a skillet, warm olive oil on medium heat, then toss in minced garlic. Stir and cook about one minute till it smells amazing but not burnt.
  • Place chicken breasts in the skillet next. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning evenly. Cook chicken about 6 to 7 minutes per side till it’s cooked through and juices run clear.
  • Take the chicken off heat and let it rest for five minutes. Resting is key for tender pull and keeping juices locked in.
  • Slice the chicken into thin strips. Thin slices make it easier to roll and get cheese in every bite.
  • Mix mayonnaise with chopped parsley in a small bowl. Then spread this bright mix on your tortillas to add moisture and fresh herby flavor.
  • Load the tortillas with chicken strips, then sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar on top. Roll them up tight, place seam-side down on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes till cheese melts and wraps get golden brown edges.
  • Serve warm and dig right in. You’ll remember that garlic buttery richness with every bite, kinda irresistible.
  • Store leftovers in foil or container in fridge or freezer for future meals.

Notes

Wraps reheat great in the oven for crispy edges. Use both cheeses for the perfect balance of stretch and flavor.
