  • 1 cup breadcrumbs plain or Italian style both work
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese sharp flavor is best
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder adds that cozy garlicky aroma
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano brings some herbal goodness
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for browning in the skillet

  • Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
