Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil or cooking spray.
Using a meat mallet or rolling pin, gently pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about ½ inch thick.
In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Dip each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to ensure an even coating on both sides. Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each piece. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
