Mongolian Chicken Made Easy in Your Pressure Cooker
This Mongolian Chicken recipe is a quick and flavorful pressure-cooked dinner, combining juicy chicken breast with a sweet, savory, and slightly spicy sauce all in one pot.
Dredge chicken strips in cornstarch until well coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the coated chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Remove cooked chicken from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and ginger puree for 1 minute.
Stir in Sriracha, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
Return chicken to skillet and toss to coat in sauce.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Garnish with sliced green onions.
Serve hot over rice or preferred sides.
Notes
To save time, use pre-cut chicken strips or mix sauce ingredients ahead and refrigerate. You can also skip searing step by adding all to pressure cooker directly.
