Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For a more intense garlic flavor, consider adding additional minced garlic or garlic powder.
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley Optional for garnish.
  • 0.25 cup ketchup For topping.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, milk, egg, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or loaf pan and shape it into a loaf form.
  • Spread the ketchup evenly on top of the meatloaf for added flavor and moisture.
  • Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For a more intense garlic flavor, consider adding additional minced garlic or garlic powder.
You can substitute the ground chicken with ground turkey if preferred.
This meatloaf pairs well with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
