Equipment

  • 1 Pressure cooker with sealing ring

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 cups Broccoli florets small bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoning salt or lemon pepper
  • 1 cup Water for steaming

Instructions

Instructions

  • Start by trimming ends off your broccoli and chopping into bite-sized pieces. Small bits steam way better under pressure.
  • Put broccoli in a microwaveable steamer basket with a little water in the bottom and zap it for 3 minutes to start the process.
  • While that’s happening, melt butter in a glass bowl right in the microwave for about 45 seconds.
  • Stir seasoning salt or your fave seasoning into the melted butter so it’s ready to go as soon as broccoli’s done.
  • Add a cup of water to your pressure cooker pot so there is enough broth depth for steaming but not drowning veggies.
  • Put the broccoli in a steam basket inside the pressure cooker, place the basket in the pot, and lock the lid with the sealing ring secured.
  • Set your cooker to high pressure for 1-2 minutes then do a natural release to keep broccoli tender but not mushy. When done, toss broccoli gently with the seasoned butter and serve!

Notes

Serve immediately to enjoy the broccoli at its freshest and crispiest!
