Heat up your Dutch oven on medium-high. Toss in lamb chunks and brown them, working in batches.
Add onion and garlic to the pot. Sauté until soft.
Stir in carrots and potatoes. Return the lamb to the pot.
Pour in beef broth, add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer.
Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
Do a quick release, check for tenderness. Serve hot over colcannon.
