Instant Pot Sticky Garlic Peanut Noodles with Chicken and More Yummy Dishes
Quick and easy comfort food at its finest with this Instant Pot sticky garlic peanut noodles with chicken recipe. 4 minutes under pressure and a take out fake out dinner is done!
Set your Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode and pour in the sesame oil. Let it heat til it’s shimmering but not smokin’.
Add the minced garlic and fresh ginger. Sauté those just about a minute til you smell those fragrances fill the kitchen.
Toss the bite-sized chicken pieces right in the pot and brown them on all sides. This step locks in flavor and texture.
Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, sambal oelek, fish sauce, and peanut butter. Stir it all together so that peanut butter melts and mixes into the broth nicely.
Now lay the flat rice stick noodles on the top, don’t stir them in—keep ’em spread out so steam reaches ‘em all.
Close your lid, make sure the sealing ring is in place and set it to 'Pressure Cook' for 5 minutes. Wait for that pressure build and hear all the good steam cues.
When it’s done cooking, quick release the pressure carefully to avoid hot steam surprises. Open the lid, give everything a good stir to combine noodles and sauce. If you want it thicker, just let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
