  • 6 chicken thighs bone-in or boneless
  • ½ cup broth any kind
  • cup honey
  • cup Bragg liquid aminos or coconut aminos or traditionally fermented soy sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup organic or lacto-fermented
  • 1 teaspoon raw apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

  • Whisk together broth, honey, liquid aminos, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and sesame oil in a medium bowl.
  • Place chicken thighs in the Instant Pot and pour sauce over the top, coating evenly.
  • Secure the lid and set the float valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes (or 23 minutes if frozen).
  • Allow natural release for 5 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
  • If you want a thicker sauce, remove chicken and set Instant Pot to sauté. Simmer sauce for 5-10 minutes until reduced.
  • Serve chicken topped with sauce, fresh parsley, and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Use frozen chicken if needed, just increase cook time by 3 minutes. Optional garnishes add elegant presentation and extra flavor.
