  • 3 Dried chillies Optional
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

  • Combine honey, chili flakes, and dried chillies in a small saucepan.
  • Heat over low for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  • Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Let cool slightly.
  • Optional: Strain out solids using a strainer for a smooth texture.
  • Pour into a jar or bottle for storage. Can further deepen flavor by finishing in pressure cooker on low pressure with natural release.

Notes

You can freeze the sauce in small containers or ice cube trays for later use. Keep stored in a cool, dark place or refrigerate for thicker consistency.
