  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 Eggs large
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ cup Milk

  • Mix butter, water, sugar, salt in saucepan over medium heat till butter melts and mixture boils.
  • Drop heat low and stir in flour all at once, mixing fast until dough balls up and pulls from pan.
  • Pull pan off heat and cool dough 5 minutes.
  • Beat in eggs one by one till dough is smooth and glossy.
  • Pipe 3-inch rings on parchment squares using star tip piping bag.
  • Heat oil to 350°F, gently drop crullers in and remove paper quickly.
  • Fry each side 2–3 minutes till golden and puffed.
  • Mix powdered sugar and milk to glaze, dunk warm crullers and let drip on rack.

Notes

Optional: Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon sugar for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Reheat in a preheated oven for the best texture when serving again.
