  • 1 pound Ground turkey lean protein
  • ¼ cup Red onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dry oregano Mediterranean vibe
  • cup Fresh spinach chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado oil for crisping
  • 5 ounces Plain Greek yogurt creamy and thick
  • ¼ cup Cucumber grated and squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice for tzatziki
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dry dill
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 cup Red onions thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Cucumber diced
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • 4 Whole wheat flatbreads ready to wrap

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix turkey, onions, garlic, oregano, spinach, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Roll mixture into golf ball size rounds and place on parchment-lined sheet. Drizzle with avocado oil.
  • Bake meatballs in oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl for tzatziki.
  • Squeeze cucumber to remove excess moisture before adding to tzatziki.
  • Serve meatballs with tzatziki, flatbread, and topped with fresh diced cucumber and tomato.

Notes

Serve warm, great with a chilled mocktail on the side.
