  • 1 lb ground turkey lean
  • ¼ cup red onion finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dry oregano
  • cup fresh spinach chopped
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 5 oz plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup grated cucumber squeeze out moisture
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Mix turkey, onion, garlic, oregano, spinach, salt, and pepper in a bowl until combined.
  • Form into small meatballs and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Heat oil in skillet; brown meatballs on all sides, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Transfer browned meatballs to oven and bake 10–15 minutes till cooked through.
  • Mix yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper for tzatziki and chill.
  • Serve meatballs warm in pita with tzatziki and toppings of choice.
