Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the garlic oil mixture.
  • Spread the broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the broccoli, and optionally drizzle with lemon juice.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra kick, consider adding red pepper flakes to the oil mixture.
This dish is versatile; you can also mix in other vegetables such as cauliflower or carrots for added flavor and nutrition.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
