Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If desired, use a meat mallet to pound them to an even thickness for more even cooking.
Dip each chicken breast in the melted butter, ensuring it's fully coated.
Press each butter-coated chicken breast into the Parmesan mixture, making sure to cover both sides evenly.
Place the coated chicken breasts in a greased baking dish, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Once done, remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
