Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 pounds total.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter Melted.
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs Such as basil, oregano, or thyme.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If desired, use a meat mallet to pound them to an even thickness for more even cooking.
  • Dip each chicken breast in the melted butter, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • Press each butter-coated chicken breast into the Parmesan mixture, making sure to cover both sides evenly.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts in a greased baking dish, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve the Garlic Parmesan Chicken with a side of vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Parmesan mixture.
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
