  • 4 slices Garlic bread gotta have that garlic punch in every bite
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese sharp or mild, what you love
  • 2 tablespoons Butter the key for browning and flavor

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat. This step’s important even if you use a pressure cooker insert for the browning.
  • Butter one side of each slice of garlic bread. This gives that golden crust y’all crave.
  • Place two slices of garlic bread butter side down in the skillet. Be gentle so the bread doesn’t break.
  • Layer two slices of cheddar cheese on top of the garlic bread in the skillet.
  • Put the remaining slices of garlic bread on top, butter side up.
  • Cook till the bottom gets golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Carefully flip and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese melts, another 4-5 minutes.

Notes

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
