Equipment

  • 1 Medium bowl to mix it all together
  • 1 Plastic wrap for wrapping those pinwheels snug
  • 1 Sharp knife to slice your pinwheels to perfect size

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese room temperature (2 bricks)
  • 1.5 ounces Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning Mix 1 packet
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 5 flour tortillas
  • ½ cup finely chopped ham
  • ½ cup chopped green onions for that fresh zing

Instructions

Instructions

  • Grab your medium bowl and mix cream cheese with the ranch mix until it's all smooth and blended. It's kinda sticky but that's good.
  • Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped ham, and green onion gently so it's all even.
  • Lay out your flour tortillas flat and spread a generous layer of the creamy mix on each one. Don't be shy with the spread, you want every bite tasty.
  • Roll each tortilla up tight so they look like little logs. Tight rolls keep the filling inside when you slice it up later.
  • Wrap each roll up in plastic wrap and pop 'em into the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This helps them set and makes slicing easier.
  • When your pressure cooker is ready, place a steamer rack inside with a little water at the bottom. The steam will warm these up perfectly.

Notes

Use pre-shredded cheddar to skip shredding yourself. Swap ham for cooked bacon bits if you want that crunchier punch. Throw in some diced jalapeño for a little heat if you're feeling spicy. Make 'em ahead and freeze wrapped pinwheels before steaming for a quick snack later.
