Cut the braising steak into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chopped onions for 5 minutes until golden.
Add chopped garlic and ginger, cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
Add ground cumin and cook for 1 minute to release aroma.
Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker, add braising steak, curry paste, tomatoes, beef stock cube, and sea salt.
Stir well so all beef is coated with spices. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 4.
About 15 minutes before serving, stir in spinach leaves, remaining garam masala, and mango chutney.
Let the spinach wilt and ensure everything is heated through.
Serve hot with steamed rice or naan bread.

Store any leftovers in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freezer for longer. Flavors deepen overnight.
