Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 12 slices pepperoni cut into quarters
  • 1 to 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • pizza sauce
  • olive oil
  • garlic powder a sprinkle
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). You need it hot so those pockets crisp up just right.
  • Roll out that pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Aim for about ¼ inch thick; not too thin or too thick.
  • Cut the dough into squares roughly 4x4 inches each. This size works great for handheld pockets.
  • Right in the center of each square place a spoonful of pizza sauce. Don’t overdo it or your pockets might get soggy.
  • Top the sauce with a few pieces of pepperoni and a generous handful of mozzarella. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over it all.
  • Fold the dough over to make a triangle, then press those edges real tight to seal everything in. You don’t wanna lose that cheesy goodness while cooking.
  • Brush the tops with olive oil before placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and smellin’ amazing.

Notes
