  • 2 lbs Boneless skinless chicken tenders or breasts choose your favorite cut
  • 2 sleeves Butter crackers like Ritz, crushed
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups Cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon Dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup for sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sour cream for sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for sauce
  • Milk to thin sauce as needed
  • Light cooking spray or melted butter for topping before baking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking dish with foil and lightly grease it.
  • Crush butter crackers and mix with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried parsley in a shallow dish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix milk and beaten eggs.
  • Spread shredded cheddar cheese into a third dish.
  • Dip each chicken piece into egg mixture, then coat with cheese, and finally press into cracker mixture.
  • Place coated chicken pieces into the baking dish. Spray tops with cooking spray or butter.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and crust is crisp and golden.
  • While baking, mix soup, sour cream, butter, and milk in a saucepan to create sauce. Serve over chicken.

Notes

To reheat and keep the crust crispy, warm leftovers in a 350°F oven for about 10 minutes instead of using the microwave.
