  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for searing
  • 2 rump steaks about 1 lb / 450 g
  • Salt and pepper seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter adds richness
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 sprig rosemary herby flavor
  • 250 g pasta fettuccine or penne
  • 125 ml low-sodium chicken stock broth depth
  • 250 ml heavy cream luscious sauce
  • cup Parmesan grated
  • a handful fresh parsley roughly chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear rump steaks seasoned with salt and pepper for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Remove steaks and let rest. In the same skillet, add butter, garlic, and rosemary, sauté until fragrant.
  • Boil pasta in a separate pot until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Add drained pasta to skillet with butter sauce. Toss until coated.
  • Thinly slice the rested steaks and add to pasta. Stir gently.
  • Add chicken stock, cream, and Parmesan to the skillet. Mix and let warm, allowing sauce to thicken.
  • Top with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture. Adjust seasoning to taste.
