Corned Beef Sliders That Will Make Your Pressure Cooker Your Best Friend

Sandy Coughlin's Irish Trader Joe's Corned Beef Sliders are cheesy, made with corned beef or pastrami, and a delicious sweet mustard on Aloha rolls.

  • 1 Baking dish large, to hold the sliders
  • 1 Oven
  • 1 Pastry brush

Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 2 packages Aloha Rolls 12 in each pack, or Hawaiian style rolls
  • 3 packages Columbus Pastrami lunch meat or use sliced corned beef
  • 4 oz Dubliner Irish Cheese thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup pesto
  • 2 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Sauerkraut optional, for serving
  • Coleslaw optional, for serving
  • Guinness potato chips optional, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Slice the Aloha rolls in half and arrange the bottom halves tightly in a baking dish.
  • Spread pesto evenly over the bottom rolls.
  • Layer your pastrami or corned beef on top of the pesto.
  • Add the thin slices of Dubliner Irish cheese over the meat.
  • Spread spicy brown mustard on the inside of the top halves of the rolls.
  • Melt the butter in a small bowl, then stir in poppy seeds and brown sugar.
  • Brush butter mixture over the rolls.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until tops are golden brown.
  • Serve warm with optional sides like sauerkraut, coleslaw, or Guinness chips.

Notes

You can use pre-sliced corned beef or pastrami from the deli counter to save time.
