Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure tops get golden brown.
Mix pesto, spicy brown mustard, and brown sugar until smooth.
Slice Aloha rolls in half and lay bottoms on a baking sheet.
Generously spread pesto mustard mix over each bottom half.
Layer pastrami or corned beef slices over the spread, then add cheese slices.
Place tops of rolls back on, melt butter, and stir in poppy seeds.
Brush butter and poppy seed mixture over all slider tops.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with sauerkraut or coleslaw for added flavor. Side of Guinness potato chips enhances the experience.
