  • 2 packs Aloha Rolls or Hawaiian style, about 12 rolls each pack
  • 3 packs Columbus Pastrami lunch meat or sliced corned beef
  • 4 oz Dubliner Irish Cheese thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup Pesto rich, herby punch
  • 2 tablespoons Spicy brown mustard for kick
  • ¼ cup Butter melted for brushing tops
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds to sprinkle on buttery tops
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar mixes with mustard and pesto
  • 1 Optional extras sauerkraut or coleslaw for crunch

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure tops get golden brown.
  • Mix pesto, spicy brown mustard, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Slice Aloha rolls in half and lay bottoms on a baking sheet.
  • Generously spread pesto mustard mix over each bottom half.
  • Layer pastrami or corned beef slices over the spread, then add cheese slices.
  • Place tops of rolls back on, melt butter, and stir in poppy seeds.
  • Brush butter and poppy seed mixture over all slider tops.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with sauerkraut or coleslaw for added flavor. Side of Guinness potato chips enhances the experience.
