  • 1 whisk
  • 1 wooden spoon or spatula
  • 1 9x5 inch loaf pan
  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Set this dry mixture aside.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
