Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 parchment paper (optional)
  • 1 meat thermometer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 whisk or fork
  • 1 aluminum foil (optional)

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lbs total.
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme Or your choice of herbs.
  • 1 lemon juiced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and lemon juice. Whisk until well combined.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help them brown better.
  • Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and brush both sides with the olive oil mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Arrange the chicken breasts so they are not touching each other for even cooking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
  • Once cooked, remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain the juices.
  • Serve the chicken warm with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, salad, or rice.

Notes

You can marinate the chicken in the olive oil mixture for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator for added flavor.
Feel free to customize the seasonings based on your taste preferences.
Leftover chicken can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
