Cookie Dough

  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 1 ⅔ cup All purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Light brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg room temperature
  • 0.33 cup Honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Sesame seeds

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl; set aside.
  • Cream butter with brown and white sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add egg, then mix in honey and vanilla until fully combined.
  • Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined, do not overmix.
  • Cover dough and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls and roll in sesame seeds.
  • Place on baking sheet with 2 inches spacing and bake 12–14 minutes.
  • Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container with a slice of bread to keep cookies chewy. Reheat gently in oven for fresh texture.
