  • ½ cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg cold
  • ½ teaspoon caramel extract
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup Rolos or other chocolate covered caramels chopped
  • ½ cup Butterfinger candies chopped

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg, caramel extract, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add dry mix into wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips, chopped Rolos, and Butterfinger candies.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto prepared sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set.
  • Cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temp. Freeze for longer storage. Microwave briefly to revive gooey texture.
