Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until well blended and a thick dough forms.
Fold in the chocolate chips or sprinkles until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Use a cookie scoop or spoon to form balls of dough, about 1 inch in diameter. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until coated.
Place the coated cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are slightly firm but the center is still soft.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
For a different flavor, you can use other varieties of cake mix, such as chocolate or vanilla.
Feel free to add in nuts or dried fruit for extra texture and flavor.
These cookies are best enjoyed fresh, but they can be stored in an airtight container for up to one week.
