Instructions
Add Kalbi marinade, apple, soy sauce, mirin, ginger, garlic, green onions, sesame oil, and rice vinegar into blender. Blend until smooth.
Place chicken quarters in large bowl or zip bag. Pour marinade over and coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight).
Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
Remove chicken from marinade. Shake off excess to avoid burning.
Place chicken in air fryer basket in single layer. Work in batches if needed.
Cook 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temp hits 165°F.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with sesame seeds if using.
Notes
Store leftovers in sealed container for up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer or oven for best crispiness & flavor.
