  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup Honey for drizzling

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until blended.
  • Fold in chopped walnuts carefully.
  • Evenly spoon the batter into lined muffin tin, filling each about ¾ full.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • While muffins are baking, warm honey gently.
  • Drizzle warm honey over baked muffins immediately after removing from oven.
  • Let muffins cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Cool muffins completely before storing to avoid sogginess. Wrap tightly and freeze for longer storage. Swap nuts or milk to customize and accommodate dietary needs.
