  • 2 pounds ground beef regular
  • 1 ½ cups saltine crackers crushed
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
  • all-purpose flour for dredging
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk for gravy
  • 1 ½ tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped

  • Mix ground beef with crushed saltines and spices in a big bowl. Add milk and season with salt and pepper. Combine until just mixed.
  • Shape the mixture into patties. Dredge each patty lightly in flour.
  • Heat a skillet over medium. Brown patties on each side for about 5 to 7 minutes. Set patties aside.
  • Add broth or water to the skillet and scrape up browned bits. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Simmer until thickened.
  • Transfer browned patties to a pressure cooker. Pour the gravy over them.
  • Seal the pressure cooker lid. Cook on high pressure for about 10 minutes. Use natural release for 10 minutes.
  • Open, serve, and enjoy.

Notes

For best flavor, serve with mashed potatoes and green beans. Garnish with parsley.
