Equipment

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 kitchen scissors
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 basting brush
  • 1 tongs
  • 1 serving plate

Ingredients

  • 2 medium lobster tails About 6 oz each.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter ½ stick.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.
  • as needed lemon wedges For serving.

Instructions

  • Begin by preheating your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  • Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the lobster flesh out of the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and lay it on top of the shell for presentation.
  • In a mixing bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove, then combine it with minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring it is well-coated.
  • Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket, meat side up. Cook for 8 minutes, or until the lobster is cooked through and opaque.
  • Once done, carefully remove the lobster tails using tongs and transfer them to a serving plate.
  • Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the lobster, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Ensure the lobster tails are thawed if previously frozen for best results.
You can adjust the seasonings according to your taste; adding chili flakes can give it an extra kick!
Pair with a side of steamed vegetables or a light salad to complement the meal.
