  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.

Instructions

  • Begin by rinsing the fresh green beans under cold water. Trim the ends off to remove any tough bits.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the green beans, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the beans are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, add the green beans to the air fryer basket, spreading them out in a single layer for even cooking.
  • Cook the green beans in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even crispness.
  • Once cooked to your desired level of crispiness, carefully remove the green beans using tongs and transfer them to a serving dish.
  • Optionally, serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences. You can add red pepper flakes for a hint of heat or grated parmesan for a cheesy twist.
If you prefer your green beans softer, cook them for a couple of extra minutes but keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
