Peanut Butter cookies are practically a classic in most homes, if not an actual classic. They are super simple and easy to make. Not to mention a great thing to do with young ones. This recipe has only a few simple and common ingredients, that most households already have.

Sweets weren’t often a commodity in my home growing up, but I do remember having peanut butter cookies now and then. Peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip. Those were made the most. Now, don’t get me wrong. I was NOT a fan of them growing up. I remember them very flat, and crunchy. To me, thats not a cookie. But lately, I have been craving sweets and simple sweets at that. So I decided to make them again.

These are the type of cookies that are easy to make. They’re soft and chewy with crisp edges. The perfect combination. They’re easily transportable, so they are great to take on trips or pack in school lunches.
