Bread is a great vehicle, isn’t it!? Creating the sandwich, burger, wrap..the list could go on. Now there are tons of different bread types in the store. I mean who has the hours to make bread themselves? YOU DO. This bread machine dough recipe is great. You can use it to make nearly any type of bread. I love taking my 2 dough balls and making buns, flatbread and a loaf with it. It’s so versatile, and the best part is it’s vegan. No dairy is ever needed.
I swear I have loved bread ever since I was a kid. I can remember peeling the fluffy innards out and feasting on them plain. Leaving the crust for..the garbage I guess. Bread has always been a huge part of my diet, and I don’t need to tell you how expensive that can get. So when the bread-making craze first started several years ago, I jumped on. At first, I was making my bread completely from scratch. But it took me hrs of my time, I didn’t always have. So when I got a bread machine, I knew that was my ticket out. Instead of spending a few hours mixing, rising and baking. I simply pour ingredients, do other things, arrange and bake. It doesn’t get much simpler. Not to mention, it will cost pennies compared to the dollars you spend in-store AND no plastic packaging or waste. BONUS.
This recipe is very quick and simple. I wanted something with easy everyday ingredients that you could not only easily source, but also buy in bulk, and they last. Simple ingredients can and do make amazing and delicious things. This bread machine dough recipe will have you racing through it in no time. The delicate airy texture on the inside and the great crisp crust makes this the perfect bread dough for any idea you may have.
The dough is such a versatile recipe. You can really make just about anything. Buns, loaves, flatbread, etc.
